🇲🇽 Haircutting Workshop , por el Fundador y Director Creativo de SENZI, Giammarco Amoroso.

Cada día trabajamos con una nueva referencia, una idea tomada de distintas fuentes, como la fotografía callejera, los editoriales, las subculturas y la escena musical, por ejemplo. Luego seleccionamos algunos elementos de las imágenes que nos gustan y los traducimos al cabello. El objetivo es mirar la belleza desde fuera de la industria de la peluquería y tener una mente abierta hacia ella.

Nuestro objetivo con este curso es ampliar la visión y la mentalidad de los estilistas, entendiendo que nuestro oficio es muy amplio, y que tener la habilidad y el criterio para adaptar nuestro trabajo a diferentes personas es esencial para desarrollar nuestro gusto y dirección creativa.

🇬🇧 Haircutting Workshop by SENZI Founder & Creative Director , Giammarco Amoroso. 

Everyday we work with a new reference, an idea taken from sources, such as street photography, editorials, subcultures and music scene for example. We will then pick some elements on the images we like and translate them into hair. The whole point is to look at beauty from outside the hairdressing industry and have an open mind to it .

Our goal for this course is to push hairstylists vision and mindset, understanding that our craft it’s very broad and having the ability and skillset to adapt our work for different individuals is essential to develop our taste and creative direction.

LEARNING FOCUS :

  • Break the rules you were trained to follow. Personalise every cut 
  • Translate ideas into structured techniques 
  • Understand vertical and horizontal shapes 
  • Follow cultural references as a starting point

Minimum 3 years of experience / 🇬🇧 English Speaking Class / 🇲🇽 Spanish Translation Available

1st Day

TIME SCHEDULE

An Introduction of SENZI. The inspiration behind our work, the brand and our mission.
10.45am BREAK
10.30am DEMO

We will take the students to the thinking process of creating a tailored haircut that
requires not only technical abilities but working with cultural references that enhance the
individual’s character . Finished with non traditional ways of styling.
1pm LUNCH
2pm WORKSHOP

In this workshop, we’ll recreate a backstage environment where the director will present a
mood board and a series of references to guide us. The focus will be on translating
creative ideas and inspiration into innovative techniques approaches, unlearning all the
patterns are often a limitation to our creativity .
. By using disconnections, we’ll explore how to create more contemporary and
cutting-edge looks that you can incorporate into your day-to-day work.
6pm WRAP UP

2nd Day
