KANSEI – CUT & STYLING COURSE
Working in high fashion and teaching thousands of hairdressers worldwide has given us a deep understanding of trends, cultures, and subcultures. These experiences have highlighted the importance of how a cut is FINISHED and STYLED nowadays, it’s EVERYTHING. Developing an eye and a feel for undone, DIY-inspired looks is a challenge we’ve observed time and again during our workshops.
To address this, we’re introducing a dedicated “finishing” session within our usual intensive cutting workshop.
Everyday we work with a new reference , an idea taken from different sources , such as
street photography , editorials , subcultures and music scene for example. We will then
pick some elements on the images we like and translate them into hair. The whole point is
to look at beauty from outside the hairdressing industry and have an open mind to it.
In this course, you’ll participate in four hands-on sessions instead of the usual two.
